I'm currently collecting stories about life in Newtown and Enmore, to appear alongside my illustrations. I'm not after the historical facts about the buildings so much. What I'd like to hear is the more recent stuff — from people who were there.  Stories from your school days or tales of a legendary night out. That sort of thing. It doesn't matter the topic, but it must be true — and the more typically Newtown, the better.
